Date balls are packed full of nutrition and superfoods, you will love these quick and easy bites on the go! Having two to three energy balls a day will give you a great energy boost. A snack portion should be enough to satisfy, but not so much that it interferes with your appetite for a meal or adds too many calories. A general rule of thumb is to aim for about 150-250 calories per snack. This is your perfect guilt-free high energy kick between meals, before workouts and after workouts for both kids and adults. The best part is you can make them with no added sugars or fillers – just pure goodness to feed your body. If you make your own at home, you can try different ingredients to get that perfect taste and texture.

Full of healthy fat, fiber, minerals and protein, our energy balls will keep you full and energized through your afternoon (or morning) slump. An added bonus: they are kid-friendly as well. Try our popular Energy Balls in two different flavours: Organic Cacao & Almond Energy Balls – made with organic cacao, almonds, oats, dates, peanut butter, sea salt and cinnamon; and our Organic Cacao & Cranberry Energy Balls – made with organic cacao, cranberries, dates, oats, sea salt, cinnamon and vanilla. These energy bombs are loaded with nutrients and good energy for the whole family!! With our Energy Bombs containing 48 calories per ball, you are consuming 144 calories per three balls as a snack, which is well under the average recommended intake per snack.

Due to the natural high sugars in energy date balls, they can also be consumed as a pre-workout snack around 30 minutes before exercise to give you that energy boost you need to really achieve your fitness goals, or after exercise when you start to feel that slump and crave some good sugar.
Our Superfood energy balls will boost your mood and stamina!

Top tips for when you make your own energy balls:

  • Use soft dates, or soak them for 10 minutes before using them
  • Don’t use pre-ground nuts, grind them fresh for your mixture
  • Don’t use colourants or added sugars, keep your recipe as raw and fresh as possible – the natural goodness and sugars will come through to satiate that sweet tooth!
  • Allow your date ball mixture to set in the fridge for 30 minutes before rolling them into balls, it makes them easier to work with and roll. As soon as you’ve mixed the ingredients, pop them into the freezer into an airtight container
  • Store fresh date balls in the fridge for up to two weeks. You can store them in the freezer for 3 months to extend shelf life
  • Don’t exceed 3 balls per day for a healthy serving size
  • Play around with your recipe, have fun and try different things!
